I was able to purchase Nim's Island when it first came out (yes, I have owned it for a while now!) and several other movies to watch on it. It is quite easy to load music, videos, and pictures onto the player. I have found it to be an excellent MP3 player, and it's lived up to the reputation I read about it! After researching and reading reviews on several products, I finally settled on Philip's GoGear 8GB model. I was in the market for a new MP3 player/ipod 3 years ago. If you like things a bit more jazzy, it isn't for you. She liked it so much that I bought her her own! Pretty easy to use - even my Nanna could work it and that's saying something. I've had one of these crash on me once, but it's easy enough to reset and it has never done it again. I don't have a highly tuned ear for sound, but I've never noticed any tinniness or other sound problems. I use it pretty much everyday and have never regretted purchasing it. Even those less technologically minded have enjoyed using it, albeit having to refer to instructions occassionally! It has been consistently high-quality, apart from one instance of a crash early on, which was quickly remedied using the given instructions and has never recurred. I've had this MP3 player for years and have recommended it to several friends and family members.
